The Maize Splash Park opened June 21 at the former skate park. The city of Maize and The Wichita Rotary Club contributed to the $208,000 attraction with 34 water features and a 3,410-square-foot splash pad. In the future, the park plans to have 11 above-ground and 23 ground spray features.. Maize Splash Park is a centrally located 5.15-acre city park in Maize, KS. It features a recently refurbished playground, new public restrooms, skateboard park, open picnic shelters, and a community building. The park’s amenities include a clean and well-organized splash pad that is connected to the playground. Visitors can enjoy shaded picnic tables and watch their kids play while staying.
